Geology

Short characteristics of the site: Boskovice Graben, Permocarboniferous. Outcrops showing not only congglomerates but also unique occurrence of dykes of basaltic trachyandesites up to trachyandesites. Dyke trends and dips are variable. Contact of conglomerates and hypabyssal rocks is not sharp. In volcanics xenoliths of surrounding sediments can be seen.
